Medical Informatics

Initiated a multidisciplinary graduate program in Medical Informatics. Collaborated with faculty members and administrators in pioneering a web-based curriculum in Medical Informatics and Family Medicine; a web-based clinical logbook that was a prototype for the development and adoption of college wide web-based curriculum and electronic logbook by all other clinical clerkships. The logbooks were used to capture information that was necessary for re-licensure of the medical school.

    Developed and led the Informatics Task Force, composed of multiple Colleges of the University, hospitals, and telecommunications companies
    Implemented change management processes that led to better collaboration and utilization of content and information by faculty, staff, and students
    Designed tools and processes to address three interrelated organizational requirements for Research Compliance a) understanding the regulation, relevance, and updates; b) training the staff; c) seamless integration with work flow and providing audit trails
