Knowledge Capture, Transfer, and Mobilization

Reporting to the Director of Program Support at the Human Services Agency, supported the agency develop and implement a strategy for effectively capturing key retirees tacit and explicit knowledge, and transferring to a new generation of workforce.

Promoted Best Practices and Processes: linked KM goals with business goals, ensured support from top management to foster knowledge culture, developed a roll out plan, worked with IT Department to build consensus for cross-functional collaboration, developed Web 2.0 and related applications specifications, defined metric to measure and track results.

Maximized Use of Technology: developed and deployed content strategy, designed and developed a prototype content object portal for the mainstream users to facilitate creation, re-use, and sharing of knowledge; introduced & deployed content management and collaboration tools (commercial & open source), WordPress and Stellent Blog and Wiki; built structured repositories and a library of standardized keywords.
